Meet the Londoners embracing boat and island living
With the cost of London housing continuing to increase, many couples have started to explore alternative living situations, that are more financially sustainable.
US expats Maisie and Harry have embraced living on a houseboat, whilst Chiswick locals Sacha and Matt have swapped riverside living for the river itself, in the form a private island.
So what has driven them to make these unusual moves? And are living situations like these real alternatives to good-old-fashioned bricks and mortar?
