You might hope for your own moment of fame, but it seems Leicestershire is already a bit of a film star in its own right.

Locations around the county have been used for many television and film productions, from small independent films to Hollywood blockbusters.

Now, national tourism agency VisitBritain is making the most of how often the UK appears in TV and film with a new campaign ‘Starring GREAT Britain’.

Ross Tarbard from Visit Leicester, has been documenting some of the times that locations in Leicestershire have featured on both the small and silver screen.
