How North East councils are helping food allergy sufferers
A new website is being launched to encourage people to report allergic reactions to food they have eaten.

The regional initiative will enable Councils to investigate and help to reduce food allergy-related illness and deaths.
Gary Philipson met Sedgefield mum Andrea and daughters Sofia and 11-year-old Carla who lives with a nut allergy. He also spoke to Brian Whelan, Environmental Health Manager at Darlington Council and also the Chair of the Regional Food Allergen Group.
