Back on dry land after 97 days at sea
A 21-year-old student from Loughborough University has become the first woman and youngest person to row solo from mainland Europe to South America.
Zara Lachlan set off from Lagos on the Portuguese Algarve on 27th October last year. Ninety-seven days, and more than four thousand miles later, she landed in French Guiana.
On the way she encountered sharks and whales during her time alone at sea in aid of Team Forces Foundation and Women in Sport.
Zara's been talking about the challenges she faced on her journey.
