The Norton heart hero from 'up the road'
When she was born with a congenital heart defect - Natalie Walsh's life was saved by a group of quick-thinking paramedics.
Natalie from Norton thought she'd never see any of them again, until she organised a coffee morning to raise funds for the Children's Heart Unit Fund at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital, where she was treated.
And it was there, 35 years later, that Natalie met former paramedic Jackie Southall who she credits with saving her life.
Claudia Robinson went along to find out more.
