Leighton Buzzard crime: ‘police aren’t interested’
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire, John Tizard, responds to concerns. It’s after local people voiced their worries about crime in the town. Bedfordshire Police said the two break-ins at the Room Number 9 Cafe, run by Caroline Gates, have been investigated. Community policing chief inspector Jim Goldsmith added: "Our teams are committed to supporting business owners and residents, with a priority focus on shoplifting and related offences of handling stolen goods."
