Unwrapping the history of Vesuvius in Didcot
The secrets of a badly burnt scroll from the Roman town of Herculaneum are being digitally "unwrapped". The ancient scroll, which is kept at the Bodleian Library, was burnt to a crisp by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Rebecca Morelle reports.
