'It's a Detectorist's dream to find Roman coins'
Roman coins found in Leicestershire are expected to raise up to £1,500 at an auction this month.
David Dunn came across the coins when he was metal-detecting in a field in Sapcote in July 2023.
Mr Dunn, who's 42 and has been metal detecting for two years, said he went to get the farmer and dug a further two feet (61cm) down where they found 50 coins.
David told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ady Dayman that he plans to donate the majority of the money to the farmer whose land the coins were found on.
