Nick Hayes shares delight at Blues return
Southend United goalkeeper Nick Hayes says he 'wanted to get it done' as soon as he heard the Blues were interested in signing him permanently. The 25-year-old made four appearances for the club in the 2023/24 season on a short-term loan. He talks making his second debut in defeat to Maidenhead United, backs the forwards to get goals again, previews facing Halifax Town and looks forward to a Roots Hall return.
