Who said Monks can't row across the Mersey
In the grounds of Birkenhead Priory stands St. Mary’s Tower and facade.
Now a Grade One listed building, it reopens for visitors to climb the 101 steps to the top and its promised views along the river and of the Liverpool skyline.
With free entry for all, there is much to learn about this historic building.
