'Relief' as Tenbury's collapsed wall to be rebuilt
Work to replace a wall destroyed by surging floodwater from the Kyre Brook, during Storm Bert, will begin on Monday 23 February 2025.
Despite it not being possible to identify the owner of the wall, Worcestershire County Council has said it will use its powers to construct a like-for-like replacement, in works which should take two weeks.
Currently, only sandbags separate Market Street from the brook.
Councillor David Chamber tells Tammy Gooding how the news is so welcome to people in Tenbury Wells.
