Leicester's adventure playgrounds have been given 12 more months of funding after facing an uncertain funding.

Nine centres faced an end to their funding in April following a decision to cut their budgets by Leicester City Council. Now, central government has stepped in to keep them going for longer, but they will still face an uncertain future at the end of this period of funding.
