31 schools in Greater Manchester are part of the Government's free breakfast club pilot scheme.

The schools chosen for the trial are expected to offer a free breakfast to all pupils and at least 30 minutes of childcare before school.

Clubs involved in the scheme will receive a share of 拢7 million in funding to kick start the plan, which Labour says will save families up to 拢450 a year.
