Even after 35 years, it's "too painful to speak"
For Colin Steele, the pain of surviving Hillsborough was too much to speak about.
In November 2024, buried memories resurfaced, leaving him emotionally shattered. With support from the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance, he finally found his voice through survivor-led therapy.
Now, he is giving back—cycling 85 miles from Anfield to Hillsborough to help others access the same life-changing support.
