Why Essex still loves Birds of a Feather
Chigwell is the Essex town which inspired a Charles Dickens novel and is home to Apprentice host Lord Sugar. It's also where Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran chose as the location for Birds of a Feather.
First broadcast in 1989, the 蜜芽传媒 sitcom was about the Chigwell lives of Sharon, Tracy and their flirtatious neighbour Dorien. Lesley Joseph has been reflecting on the similarities between herself and her on-screen character, and why Essex still loves her!
