Why Essex still loves Birds of a Feather
Chigwell is the Essex town which inspired a Charles Dickens novel and is home to Apprentice host Lord Sugar. It's also where Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran chose as the location for Birds of a Feather.
First broadcast in 1989, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ sitcom was about the Chigwell lives of Sharon, Tracy and their flirtatious neighbour Dorien. Lesley Joseph has been reflecting on the similarities between herself and her on-screen character, and why Essex still loves her!
