I was the Covid bus driver - and I'd do it again
Coach driver Andy Simonds, who transported people to a secure medical unit in Wirral at the outset of the covid pandemic, says he would do it again.
You may remember Andy was pictured behind the wheel, taking British nationals who'd arrived from Wuhan in China to Arrowe Park Hospital five years ago, with no protective masks or clothing.
He says people still ask “how is he?”
