Witham has UK’s longest-running roadworks
Ten years ago a set of temporary traffic lights in Witham were switched on for the very first time. One decade and at least half a million pounds later, the roadworks are still in place.
According to National Highways they are the longest running on its 4,500-mile network anywhere in the country. So what's it like living and working around these never-ending repairs?
