Why did people come to Kent from Albania on small boats....and what happened next?
In 2022, more than 12 thousand people from Albania crossed the Channel in small boats. Since then the numbers have reduced to several hundred.
What encouraged people to make the dangerous journey? How has the UK and Albania worked together to reduce irregular migration? ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Kent and South East Today reporter Josie Hannett travelled to the country to find out more about the pull factors, as well as the efforts to deter illegal immigration.
