London Eye architect reflects on 25 year anniversary.
It’s been 25 years since London welcomed its now iconic London Eye, but it was only supposed to be a temporary feature to celebrate the turn of the millennium.
Speaking to 5 Live’s Sonja McLaughlan, Julia explained how the wheel initially came to be.
"One of the ideas behind the Eye is that it should be like standing on top of a mountain within the city," she said.
