Melton: concern over funding for private security
Businesses in Melton are concerned the end of funding for private security will lead to a surge in crime.
Wardens from company N Security significantly brought down retail crime and anti-social behaviour in Melton Mowbray on the days they were on patrol, according to Leicestershire Police. But now the funding that brought them there is coming to an end.
