Light Up Leicester got underway on Wednesday evening, and thousands of people headed into the city to take a twinkly tour around an illuminated trail.

The free festival, taking place until Saturday 15th March, has given Leicester a bit of a 'glow up', with almost a dozen different pieces of artworks scattered around the city centre, not to mention the performances and parades that have been organised alongside them.
