Mass Iftar takes place in Leicester
A mass Iftar has taken place in Leicester, with hundreds of Muslims gathering by the Clock Tower to break their fast.
Iftar is the name of the meal eaten after sunset during the holy month of Ramadan, when Muslims fast every day from dawn to sunset. Dozens of people gathered in Church Gate for what is thought to be the first-ever mass Iftar to be held in Leicester city centre.
Mahomed Jussab was one of the organisers and spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ellis Maddison.
