University of Bedfordshire proposes 240 job cuts
The University of Bedfordshire, which has its main campuses in Bedford and Luton and has about 20,000 students from more than 100 countries, announces plans to cut 240 jobs amid financial challenges, citing frozen tuition fees, rising costs, and fewer international students. Union UNISON said the cuts "will have a real impact" on students. Martin Thurlow, is the UNISON University of Bedfordshire branch Chair and spoke with Roberto Perrone.
