'Mountain of illegal goods' seized in town centre
West Mercia Police storm in to an Evesham shop, cracking down on money-laundering and the sale of illicit over-the-counter goods, including vapes and cigarettes.
Half a million pounds' worth of assets were seized, with six people arrested on immigration offences, in a series of anti-fraud raids across Herefordshire & Worcestershire known as 'Operation Henhouse'.

Across the force area, West Mercia Police confiscated illicit goods with a street value of £29,000, froze 18 bank accounts containing £487,000, and seized £8,000 in cash.
Nationally, more than 400 people were arrested in 'Operation Henhouse', with cash and assets worth £7.5 million being seized.
