Deaf footballer having to fundraise to represent Great Britain
A young woman from Salisbury, who became the youngest Deaf woman's footballer to play for team GB, is hoping to head to the Deaflympics in Tokyo after being selected for the team once again.
Sophie Mernagh, who nearly quit playing football before joining a club in Eastleigh, is having to raise money to help fund the teams trip to Tokyo as the government does not provide funding.
She and her mum spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Lucy Ambache.
