Arran Gulliver, a bobsleigh world cup winner, has returned an adverse sample in an 'out of competition' doping test, putting his Winter Olympics medal hopes in serious doubt.

The International Testing Agency is going to give him a chance to respond to the result, and explain his version of events.

The 27-year-old is yet to comment.
