Weasel testicles and other medieval remedies
Some eye-raising medieval remedies have gone on display at Cambridge University Library.
Curious Cure: Medicine in the Medieval World features manuscripts dating back to the 12th century – explaining treatments for things such as tooth-ache, lice and nose bleeds.
One of these includes the use of weasel testicles!
