‘The Birmingham bin strike is affecting our area’
Callowbrook Lane, on the border between Birmingham and Bromsgrove in Rubery, has seen rubbish pile up. Levels of pests has also risen as the strike enters a second month.
At time of publishing, an estimated 17,000 tonnes of waste has been left on streets due to the strike, which has resulted in Birmingham City Council declaring the situation a major incident.
