Charlotte Edwards will leave Hampshire to take up her new role as England Women's head coach.
The 45-year-old, England's all-time leading run-scorer, replaces Jon Lewis, who was sacked in March.
Edwards lead the Southern Vipers to five trophies in the five years of the Women's Regional programme.
