Levelling up cash "gamechanger" for region
Work is taking place to transform the centre of Stalybridge after Historic England said its heritage was at risk.
The streets have had a makeover and new bars and restaurants have opened, while the Civic Hall is being turned into a centre for arts and culture.
The town is also benefitting from £20m of Levelling Up cash which could see hundreds of new homes.
