Albion celebrate 'opportunities for all'
Albion celebrated the club's elite blind and powerchair footballers on its annual 'Foundation Day' before their Championship match with Sunderland. The day aims to highlight the work of the club's charity, Albion Foundation and this year the theme was 'See Us To Believe Us'. An event was held before the Baggies' match in the Community Sports Hall facility, which is opposite the main stadium on Halfords Lane and the players wore commemorative shirts for the game, while fans were invited to donate to the Foundation with the club promising to match funds raised. The money will support the charity's work in the local community, including supporting people with disabilities and learning difficulties.
