'I became a medic by accident just like my dad'

Paramedic Adrian Utting says he feels 'pride' watching his son on the job, with the pair both working at the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS).

Adrian, 55, is now a specialist practitioner – but he joined the service at the bottom of the career ladder, in patient transport, after a career change 25 years ago.

Now his son Ashley Utting, 25, is at the bottom of the same ladder.

Adrian and Ashley spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ady Dayman.
