Melinda French Gates: 'I knew I had to move on'
Melinda French Gates - philanthropist, businesswoman and one half of the famous Microsoft name. Now, she’s offering a glimpse into some of her life’s transformative moments in her new book, The Next Day.
Emma Barnett sat down with Melinda to discuss the book and the experiences that led to it. They talk about her decision to divorce her husband, Bill Gates, after his infidelity and how this led her to reexamine and redefine her values. They also speak of Melinda’s fears surrounding the increasing threats to women’s rights, as well as her opinions on the tech-billionaire presence at Trump’s inauguration.
