Melinda French Gates - philanthropist, businesswoman and one half of the famous Microsoft name. Now, she鈥檚 offering a glimpse into some of her life鈥檚 transformative moments in her new book, The Next Day.

Emma Barnett sat down with Melinda to discuss the book and the experiences that led to it. They talk about her decision to divorce her husband, Bill Gates, after his infidelity and how this led her to reexamine and redefine her values. They also speak of Melinda鈥檚 fears surrounding the increasing threats to women鈥檚 rights, as well as her opinions on the tech-billionaire presence at Trump鈥檚 inauguration.
