Worcestershire Regiment reunited 75 years on
On 15th April 1950 they were awarded the Freedom of the City of Worcester, with a huge parade that brought out tens of thousands of people, saluting the soldiers.
In 2025, a set of four silver drums used on that occasion, 75 years on, have gone on display at the Guildhall and New Road, marking the anniversary, and were unveiled at Norton Barracks.
Tom Edwards reports.
