'A lot of sacrifice to get where we are today'
Colonel Joe Peterburs flew Mustangs from RAF Kings Cliffe near Peterborough when he was 20. He was shot down a few weeks before VE Day. It will be 80 years since he departed for his final mission from the airfield.
Members of the Kings Cliffe Airfield Museum arranged a surprise flight for him in a replica Mustang at Duxford. Reporter Emma Baugh spoke to Colonel Joe once he was safely back on the ground.
