Kenilworth artist creates on-air masterpiece
The CWR Breakfast show broadcast live from Kenilworth, at Morning Sunshine Coffee on Monday 14 April, the first working day of a three-week road closure between Kenilworth and Coventry due to ongoing works for HS2. Lots of members of the community popped in including Diane Shores, who is well known in the town for her humorous drawings of the everyday goings on there. Together with local business owner Michelle from Castle ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Luxuries, they've partnered to create comical gifts and cards. Diane's latest work was a tongue-in-cheek take on the recently painted section of Station Road, nicknamed 'custard corner', due to its bright yellow appearance. Here she is talking to Phil Upton before and after taking up the challenge of painting something to represent the CWR Breakfast Show.
