Stevenage satellite blasts off to monitor forests
Dr Ralph Cordey, head of earth science at Stevenage-based Airbus, shares his excitement. The European Space Agency mission launched the Biomass satellite which is designed to provide “unprecedented insights” into the world’s forests and their role in Earth’s climate.
