Billericay Town manager Gary McCann has described his side's Isthmian Premier play-off semi-final defeat to Dover Athletic as one of his 'lowest moments in football'. Ricay, who missed out on automatic promotion by one goal, took the game at New Lodge to extra time where top-scorer Femi Akinwande found the net but two free-kick goals from former Braintree Town midfielder Alfie Matthews sent Dover into the play-off final.
