TRANSLATION:
A post mortem on a pregnant porpoise found stranded in Cornwall has found that the animal died after being caught up in commercial fishing nets.
The porpoise was found by volunteers on Good Friday after they were called to Pentewan Beach near St Austell.
A post-mortem found the animal had been heavily pregnant with a near-term calf.
James Barnett, veterinary investigator for Cornwall Marine Pathology Team, said it had never seen in 20 years a female so close to term and said it was the most distressing post mortem he had ever seen.鈥
Campaigners called on the government to provide access to acoustic deterrent devices, known as "pingers", which emit sounds to alert porpoises to fishing nets.

Cornwall's main hospital will get two next-generation radiotherapy machines within 12 months, after being awarded 拢2.6 million by NHS England.
One of the machines, called a linear accelerator (LINAC), has already been installed at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust's Sunrise Centre in Truro, and after testing will start treating patients in September.
Savvas Rizkalla, head of radiotherapy physics at the trust, said the machines would be a "real game changer" in helping reduce waiting cancer times and provide "outstanding care".
He added the state-of-the-art machines were "very clever and very versatile devices in that they use high energy electron beams to treat cancers with pinpoint accuracy".
The investment has come from NHS England's National Capital Fund.

Cornwall is perhaps better known for Rugby Union 鈥 but next season, the Tinners will become the first side from Cornwall to play at the fifth tier of English football, after their dramatic last day 5-2 win over St Albans City, in which they took the title through a goal difference with Torquay United.
Their victory comes a year after they were still playing 'home' games at Gloucester City 鈥 a 390-mile round trip.
The title and marks the highest of highs for a club that has also seen its fair share of lows.
Truro's long-serving captain Connor Riley-Lowe said he couldn鈥檛 believe what they鈥檇 done.
He said that playing in Gloucester three times a week had been tough on players who also have both jobs and kids.
He said, "what we've done this season is just reward for the last four seasons of having no home and having to graft through."
