40 years ago the very first Arm 1 R.I.S.C chip powered up and kick-started a computing revolution.

Created at Acorn Computers in Cambridge, four decades later, ARM-based processors are in everything from smartphones and tablets to smart TVs and wearables.

Gareth Marlow is Chair of Trustees at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge, he tells Kev Lawrence how this chip changed the world.
