Kevin Maher wants Blues to 'do the fans justice' against Gateshead
Southend United head coach Kevin Maher says he wants his side to 'do the fans justice' when they face Gateshead in the last league game of the National League season on Bank Holiday Monday. The Blues travel to the north-east sitting seventh in the league, knowing a win or draw will take them to the play-offs. They have nearly sold their 2,000 capacity at the Gateshead International Stadium and sold out the 1,200 seats at Roots Hall for a live screening of the match. Maher also talks building momentum, positivity, team news, End of Season Awards and the changes at Southend since the consortium's takeover.
