The World At One's Sarah Montague talks to people on her home island

The Channel Islands were the only part of the British Isles to be occupied by Nazis in World War Two and were completely cut off for 5 years before being liberated on May 9th.

So how will they be celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe?

The World At One's Sarah Montague went to Guernsey, where she grew up, to explore the lasting legacy cast over the island.
