Why have two of Worcester Cathedral's chicks died?

Of the three peregrine eggs that hatched in 2025, only one is now alive.

Worcester Cathedral's Biodiversity Advisor, Chris Dobbs, says it's natural for not all the falcon brood to survive to adulthood.

Parents Peter and Peggy produced four eggs at the nesting site, with the first hatching taking place on Easter Sunday.
