Many of us are passionate gardeners, be that tending to lawns, terrace gardens or community growing spaces. But how often do we stop to think about the plants we grow - and where they've come from?
The British Library in central London has an exhibition this summer all about the history of gardens in Britain - from the 16th century to the present day.
