Gold hoard an ‘Incredible feet of metal detecting’
The largest collection of 7th century gold will be on display at Norwich Castle Museum.
The hoard was discovered by two metal detectorists in a west Norfolk farmer’s field between 2014 and 2020.
Susie Fowler-Watt met Dr Tim Pestell, the museum’s senior curator of archaeology to find out more.
