Shock discovery at Vindolanda Roman fort
Dubbed "incredibly significant" by experts, the Victory goddess sandstone carving has been found in rubble above infantry barracks at the Vindolanda Roman settlement in Hexham.
Mairead Smith spoke to the volunteers who discovered it.
