Must Watch reviewers Scott Bryan and Hayley Campbell share their thoughts on Death Valley.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, Scott said: "I think it is a must watch."

"This is a show that I think knows what it is trying to do and doing it well. But there is a trend at the moment towards sort of 鈥榗osy crime鈥� and I felt that this provides that."

"There's no real high stakes, you don't want there to be high stakes because every other police procedural on TV provides that, this is the antidote to that."

Hayley said: "It's a bit too cutesy."

"It鈥檚 full of little jokes about people being 鈥渃ancelled鈥� or using the term 鈥渟afe space鈥� in a jokey way. And it feels like an older person has written a script to kind of take the mickey out of younger people."

"And I think in a script that's been revised loads of times, read by loads of people before it even gets to the set, I really wish that the jokes were better than just the most basic stuff you see on social media."
