Rare historic ship returns to Lowestoft roots
A rare fishing vessel built in Lowestoft 138 years-ago has returned to the town after a century away.
The Nordlys "convertor smack” is believed to be the only remaining ship of its type in the world.
Restorers now hope to transform her into a state-of the art sail-powered research vessel.
Debbie Tubby went on board.
