From Stourport Spar to Wembley with Wimbledon
Craig Cope has become the country’s youngest director of football in the English Football League, getting ‘The Crazy Gang’ buzzing once again.
The Worcestershire native tells Malcolm Boyden about achieving promotion with AFC Wimbledon, beating Walsall in the League 2 Play-Off Final, as well as having his family in the Royal Box, and celebrating on the pitch with the players.
He reflects on a career that’s included spells at Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest, including seeing a very young Jude Bellingham in the St Andrews’ club age group squads!
