When Greg Davies performed in Droitwich
The Taskmaster, Inbetweeners and Man Down star performed at his hero's hometown, on the same stage where Rik Mayall first performed, at the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich.
On a stop from his huge arena tour, the actor tells Felicity Kvesic some incredible memories of working with the comedy legend who his school friends would rush to talk about the most recent episode of The Young Ones, as well as the first time they met in person, when Rik Mayall put his arm around Greg, grinned, and simply said 'comrade', discussing what would be his future role in Greg's series, Man Down.
Greg Davies says he'll definitely be back, should the Rik Mayall Comedy Festival return, 'as a permanent reminder of his work'.
